If you own a Fiskars punch do you know you are holding over 300 years of history in your hands?
You might just have bought the punch but the firm, Fiskars, is over 360 years old! Established in 1649 in Finland, it is the oldest company still in manufacturing.
Over the years Fiskars has adapted its products to what the market place is using. As the crafting community grew it must have realised what a wonderful opportunity to combine its metal working skills  with a market hungry for new products and so Fiskars punches were born.

Currently they have over 190 different punches so you’ll be spoilt for choice!

One of the really good things that Fiskars has done is to introduce a “Squeeze Punch” which has handles on it which as the name suggests you squeeze to use the punch. This is a brillant idea for crafters with limited mobilty in their hands and it has been awared an ease of use commendation by the Arthritis Foundation.

They have also introduced the trade marked “Everywhere Punch Window System” which enables you to punch perfect “windows” anywhere on your card or papercraft every time.
